تودههای نفوذی و نیمه عمیق آذرین باسن سنوزوئیک در رشتهکوه صلوات، بخش شرقی فلات ماگمایی آذربایجان، شمال غرب ایران، دارای الگوهای ژئوشیمیایی آلکالن پتاسیک (شوشونیتی) میباشند. این تودههای آذرین دارای ترکیب سنگشناسی الیوین مونزوگابرو، مونزونیت، دیوریت و آلکالی فلدسپار سینیت هستند. این سنگها مقادیر SiO2 5/57 تا 68 %، K2O+Na2O =35/11-05/7 و K2O/Na2O =03/2-7/0 را نشان میدهند. تمامی نمونههای مورد مطالعه با عدد منیزیم پائین ( 38<) و مقادیر نسبتاً بالای Al2O3 (%65/17-%14) مشخص میشوند. بهعلاوه تمامی نمونهها دارای غنیشدگی از عناصر با شعاع یونی بزرگ (LILE)، عناصر نادر خاکی سبک (LREE) و تهی شدگی از عناصر با شدت یونی بالا (HFSE) و تهی شدگی ضعیف تا متوسط در عنصر یوروپیوم (Eu/Eu*= 98/0-45/0) نسبت به مقادیر به هنجار شده گوشته اولیه میباشند. نمونههای مورد مطالعه با ناهمگنی در مقادیر ایزوتوپی استرنسیوم و نئودیمیوم با مقادیر Sr87/Sr86= 70632/0-70539/0 و Nd143/Nd144= 512607/0- 512542/0 مشخص میشوند. الگوهای ژئوشیمی ارائه شده بیانگر این است ماگمای مادر این دسته از سنگها از ذوب منبع لیتوسفر گوشتهای غنیشده تشکیلشده است. در این موارد، وجود یک آنومالی حرارتی برای ذوب بخشی لیتوسفر گوشتهای و تشکیل ماگمای مادر ضروری است. تودههای نفوذی مورد نظر در یک رژیم تکتونیکی همراه با کشش یا نازک شدگی لیتوسفر در ائوسن-الیگوسن در فلات ماگمایی آذربایجان جای گرفتهاند.
