The studied area is considered a part of the Tertiary-Quaternary magmatic zone, which is located in the Western Alborz-Azerbaijan zone. In this area, zeolites are formed inside the holes and fractures of the porphyry to megaporphyry andesite host rock. Based on the XRD analysis results, a significant variety of zeolites including stilbite, chabazite, stellerite and barrerite as main phases and scolecite as secondary phase are formed in the region. Also, the study of thin sections of zeolite mineralization showed that needle crystals of mesolite were formed as a secondary phase in some stilbite crystals. The shape and place of formation of zeolites indicate their hydrothermal origin. The results obtained from the study of stable isotopes O and D show that the fluids forming zeolites were meteoric in origin. These fluids are gradually heated by circulation inside the lavas and by reacting with the host rock, they have provided the necessary materials for the formation of zeolites by decomposition and altering volcanic glasses and some susceptible minerals such as alkaline feldspars. These fluids have formed the zeolites by circulation inside the holes, fractures and open spaces in the volcanic units in the areas near the surface.
